  • A multidisciplinary team that consists of a respiratory therapist, physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, certified nursing assistant and/or Registered Nurse.

    The team focuses on early mobilization of a critically ill patient to decrease ICU and hospital length of stay, increase the patient’s sense of well being, decrease hospital acquired infections, and maintain (pre-hospital) baseline activity level.

  • Nursing support whose role is to expedite the discharge of patients to decrease the length of stay, reduce readmissions and open beds for other patients.
